Sally’s career in the fashion industry has included roles as a fashion business journalist and editor, a senior retail analyst, and a communications consultant to both large and small organisations.
Career Highlights:
Sally has spent most of her career in the fashion industry as a business journalist (including the Editorship of weekly magazine Drapers) and, in the last 10 years, has also operated at a senior level as a retail analyst for Verdict Research and Mintel International.
During this time, a variety of major companies have made use of her expertise and knowledge of fashion retailing / branding and marketing communications. Corporate and internal/external communications roles have been undertaken for retailers such as C&A, Laura Ashley and Evans.
More recently she has worked with smaller start-up companies; and she has developed a Retail Futures trend package in conjunction with fellow Chambers member Sue Dean.
Sally is also an Associate / Visiting Lecturer at the London Collection of Fashion, the University of Westminster and Nottingham Trent University.
